In this lesson, the difference between a Smart Object and Regular object was learned.
The layer marked "Regular" was scaled to a small size, and then scaled back to the normal size. This resulted in a huge loss of image quality.
However, in the layer marked "Smart Object" the layer was right clicked, and made into a smart object by selecting 'Smart Object". This allowed for the image to be scaled freely with no image quality loss.
